If you are like us, there is always a little melody running through your head, ready to burst out. But most guys aren't professionsal singers, and breaking into song in public may draw more than a few odd looks. There is no place to sings those songs you love so well. Or is there?

For more than four decades, men from their teens to their eighties have been ringing out the glorious sounds of barbershop harmony as members of the Heart of Maryland Chorus. Now you can be part of a growing group of men who share a love of good close-harmony singing.

You don't need to be a trained musician or professional singer to sing barbershop. The Heart of Maryland Chorus strives to acheive singing excellence through a program of music education and vocal training that has produced award-winning results.

The chorus meets every Tuesday night between 8pm and 10:30pm at Trinity United Methodist Church in Catonsville, MD., at the intersection of Rockwell and Westchester Avenues. Visitors are always welcome to sing with us or just listen.

We provide vocal training, the chance to sing in public, and the opportunity to sing in a chorus or with just three other guys in a barbershop quartet. Singing experience is welcome, but not necessary.
